Home > Novelties/Misc. > Floam
What it is: Floam is similar in function to Play-Doh or modeling clay. It's a gelatinous material full of "microbeads." Children (or adults) can sculpt Floam into any shapes they can imagine; or Floam can be shaped around existing items as a decorative touch.
Our review: Floam, according to our reviewer, is one of the worst as seen on TV products she's tried. Our reviewer strongly recommends against buying Floam. Floam review

Jim Martinez, San Antonio, Texas: "I bought Floam for my nephew, but I would never buy it again. It was not a pleasant material to work with, either in terms of texture or smell. It was sticky, and stuck to a lot of things we didn't want it sticking to. It stains stuff pretty easily. We threw it out pretty quickly."
Nona Mae, Oxford, Miss.: "Way overpriced for what you get, even if you buy it on sale."
Sallie F., Tulsa, Okla.: "OK, I guess I would agree that there's nothing special about Floam, but the harshness of the review surprised me. It's not a great product, I'd definitely go with Play-Doh before Floam, but it didn't make me want to run screaming back to the store to get my money back."
