What it is: The Makin Bacon is a plastic tray and "stems" from which to drape bacon for cooking in the microwave (the tray collects grease).
Our review: We found multiple problems with the Makin Bacon, not least of which is the flavor and texture of the bacon cooked with it. Makin Bacon review

Patty Gonzales, Laredo, Texas: "I disagree with your review. The Makin Bacon worked well for us, so good that we use it all the time. Much better than cooking in the grease, and the flavor and texture are fine with us."
Greg F., Oneida, N.Y.: "It works well enough in terms of the actual way in which it functions. The bacon just doesn't taste very good in the microwave. I mean, you love microwaved bacon, then the Makin Bacon will probably right up your alley. But I thought the bacon cooked unevenly and came out rubbery. I would recommend sticking with the old-fashioned way of cooking bacon, or at least using a George Foreman grill rather than a microwave."
