Review: Magic Bullet

magic bullet Magic Bullet Blender is Downright ... Magical!

The Magic Bullet - blender/chopper, or miniature food processor - is one kitchen product that I don’t think I could ever live without. I use this appliance for everything from making omelets to mincing garlic. This is a product that I can honestly say that I use just about every single day.

What is so Great About the Magic Bullet?
I love the bullet because it is so versatile. My son-in-law uses his to grind coffee. My daughter uses it to make frozen drinks. I use it to puree, chop, mix, blend, mince and so much more. This one little product can actually do it all. Additionally, it is easy to operate. In fact, it can run on its own, hands free.

What Comes With the Bullet?
The bullet comes with its own power base and two blades. One is a flat blade that whips and blends. The other is a cross blade that does everything else. It also comes with two cups; one tall and one short. Also included are one shaker top, one steamer top, two stay-fresh lids, four mugs, four colored lip rings and a recipe book. Some options also include the blender accessory kit that turns the Magic Bullet into a top-class blender.

How Do You Use the Bullet?
The Magic Bullet is so simple that anyone can use it. While I don’t recommend it for use by children under the age of 14, it is simple enough for a child to operate it. It couldn’t be easier. You simply load your ingredients, screw on the proper blade for the action you want, put the cup into the grooves on the power base, twist slightly with a gentle pressure down and voila, your Magic Bullet does all the work for you. For solid pieces of food like coffee beans, nuts, etc., you can also do a pulse blend. This will help you achieve the best results.

What Can I Use the Magic Bullet For?
A better question would be what can’t you use it for? You can grate cheese, grind coffee, chop onions, puree baby food, blend salsa, whip cream, make frozen drinks; the list goes on and on. I use mine a lot to blend ingredients for my favorite soup recipes as well as for my spaghetti sauce, chocolate mousse, and lots more. You get the idea.

You can even use the bullet cups to store food such as leftover soup. When you are ready to eat the soup, just pop the bullet cup into the microwave and heat. Or, if your whipped dessert requires freezing, that’s not a problem. Just put the bullet cup into the freezer until you are ready to use it. It couldn’t be simpler.

Is the Magic Bullet Expensive?
When I purchased my Bullet, it was $59.95 and included the blender accessory kit. It was worth every single penny. Today, however, you can get the Magic Bullet for around $10 or less. I consider that a real bargain.

Where Can I Find the Magic Bullet?
There are lots of stores that carry the Magic Bullet, but it can also be purchased online from various retail websites. I purchased mine from Home Shopping Channel so that I had a free 30-day trial without obligation to keep the product if I didn’t like it. Obviously, I didn’t need that option. Still, it was nice to have.

The Verdict
This is one of my favorite products of all time; "As Seen On TV" or otherwise. It does exactly what the manufacturer claims. It can be used as a food processor, blender, juicer and so much more. I particularly like the fact that it is compact, taking up very little room in my already cramped apartment.

I highly recommend the Magic Bullet. It’s a slam-dunk, getting the full 10 out of 10 stars because it is, quite literally, the best product of its kind on the market today.
